The vinyl renaissance has prompted the introduction of new Atlas tonearm/turntable products to optimise your analogue playback. Based on our multi-award winning Element Integra, the Element Integra Turntable cable is an extremely low noise interconnect with an open, neutral sound.
A worthwhile improvement in performance over the ‘in the box’ cables typically supplied with entry-level turntables.
The Element Turntable cable is fitted with our Integra non-magnetic RCA plugs and spade-terminated earth tags. The low mass Integra connector features a solder-free, cold-weld connection, all optimised to create a coherent, continuous signal path. The signal conductor is a fully shielded high quality OFC copper, designed and constructed to provide maximum resistance to RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) which can raise noise levels in a poorly shielded cable, particularly important with such sensitive low-level signals as typically generated by a pick-up cartridge.
The Integra is a low-mass, non-compression, constant impedance, self-cleaning, solder-free construction RCA plug.
OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) was developed based on research that sound quality was related to the quality of copper and the processing used during cable manufacture.
A form of LDPE (Low Density Polypropylene) formed with cross-link polymers, stable and used extensively on medium voltage cables.
A pair of identically matched conductors (one for signal path, the other acts as the return conductor) enclosed within an OFC woven screen. Combined with our dd (dual drain) system which avoids distortion of the screening braid during assembly – this can change the RF impedance and therefore the performance of the cable.
